Glad someone else spotted this. Indeed. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporations’s logo from a 1970’s re-branding. That decal was as synonymous as the BBC’s letters in Canada for decades. Reflective of today’s idea of originality: lazy internet-borne plagiarism. Yawn.
I’d be very surprised if the CBC didn’t shut this campaign down. What was the designer thinking? The poster with the man and the car has a full half of the CBC logo in it, completely unadulterated! This logo is instantly recognizable to any adult Canadian.
